I’m delighted to share that I published my very first article “Frameworkless – Weniger ist manchmal mehr” (Frameworkless – Sometimes less is more) in the August/September digital issue of the renowned German “PHP Magazin”!
It’s based on my previous talk “Frameworkless” which I gave at the International PHP Conference earlier this year.
It really makes me happy to see my own words in a magazine which I was reading myself for many years. It played an important role in my career as a developer.
Over the past 15 years, I saw projects struggling because of the underlying frameworks. That’s why, in this article, I’ll explain my view on the pros and cons of frameworks. I show how to utilize the PHP ecosystem to create modern, maintainable applications without them.
