I’m really proud to announce that in June 2021 I had my first talk, Frameworkless, on the International PHP Conference. Although it still being an Online Conference, I was finally able to check this off my bucket list.
Let’s face it – an Online Conference is only half as cool. I would have loved to discuss the topic of writing PHP applications without using a framework after the talk in more detail. Especially my mild criticism on Laravel, the biggest PHP Framework out there, is surely worth a discussion 🙂
Plus, it still feels weird to talk to the camera instead of a crowd, since I was getting no visual feedback at all during my talk. Anyways, the Conference Team made the best out of the current situation. I’m looking forward to seeing you people “in real” again soon on one of the next International PHP Conferences!
